Foster dogs and early morning

So until the end of December I work at 5:30am, which means I wake up at 4am and, since I'm a night person, this tends to come WAY to early! Here it is, 10pm and I'm still not even in bed. This means that should I fall asleep by 11pm I will get 5 hours of sleep! Yikes!! Well it is better then the 3 hours I got last night...

The good thing is that my boss is super grateful to be able to sleep in so she is giving me 4 days off around Christmas! I'm super excited about that because it means John and I will be able to spend at least 3 full days in Kenai! There is nothing like being with family for the Holidays and since I can't be with mine I will be happy to join in John's family's traditions!

On another happy note our foster dog Dozer went to a new home today! They seem really great and I'm super happy for him! Just look at this sweet boy, who wouldn't want to adopt him?






















So tomorrow we will go down to the rescue and pick up our new foster dog. I can't wait to meet him or her! It is always an exciting time bringing someone new home and learning about them. I will have to post pictures once he or she is here!
